Alright, here’s how it happened. I didn’t sit down with a branding agency and come up with “Jay the Table Guy.” Nope. I returned Lots of calls to chiro offices,and the secretary would say, “Jay is returning your call,” and like clockwork, the doc would ask, “Jay who?”
And the secretary would say, “You know, Jay the Table Guy.”
And the secretary would say, “You know, Jay the Table Guy.”
So, thanks to a bunch of overworked Chiropractic Assistants all across the world, the name stuck.
I’ve been up to my elbows in chiropractic tables since the early ’90s. If it clicks, clunks, or has a hydraulic leak at the worst possible time, I’ve probably fixed it, sold it, or at least got a good story about it.
I’m not some faceless company. When you call, you can catch me in the office, usually with a tool in one hand and coffee in the other, but always ready to help.
Jay the Table Guy- Bio
After graduating high school in 1984, I went to a local trade college to become an electrician. In 1986, I joined the U.S. Air Force as a Crew Chief, spending four years maintaining aircraft—first fighter jets, then large cargo planes after transferring bases in 1988. When my military service ended, I worked at an airport, but constant strikes made that career unpredictable.
That’s when I spotted an ad for a chiropractic table repair tech—a role that needed solid hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical skills. WESSCO hired me, and within two weeks, I was on the road fixing equipment. That hands-on experience set the foundation for my career. Since 1992, I’ve been troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing chiropractic tables, building a reputation worldwide as the go-to tech support guy for chiropractic equipment.
Why’d I start doing this? Honestly, I just got tired of seeing people get the runaround from folks who couldn’t tell a Zenith from a folding chair. My old boss tried to play me—he went bankrupt, I started my own thing, and now docs all over know: you want the truth about tables, you call Jay the Table Guy.
So yeah, I’m Jay. The Table Guy. If you’ve got a table problem, or just need a straight answer on how a Table hold up without the sales pitch, give my office a call. If I don’t pick up right away, I’m probably under a table—or on the road repairing broken chiropractic tables!
